Year 5/6 Learning Reflection

The Grade 5/6 students had a great time at the Melbourne Museum recently. We learnt a lot about the history of the earth and the impact different events had on the environment and different habitats.

During our Maths lessons, the Grade 5/6 students have been learning about Probability - relative and theoretical probability and their relationship. We learnt that the greater number of trials in an experiment, the relative frequency tends to get closer to its theoretical probability. We rolled a dice or flipped a coin, recorded the results and noticed the outcomes.

As part of our SEL lessons, the Grade 6 students have been learning about Help Seeking and Coping Strategies. We created a storyboard and shared these with Prep A.

We had an awesome time during Athletics Day this week. We put in our best and fairest efforts when running, throwing the shotput and discus and jumping in long jump and highjump.  We beat goals and set new ones.
