We cannot believe that we are at the end of Semester One, already! We thank you all for your continued support.  

In Year 3, the children have been learning about ‘The Uluru Statement of the Heart’. This term we have explored a lot about First Nations culture and learnt many important parts of history with the Aboriginal Flag. 

The Year 4, children have been reading the story ‘The Arrival’, it is a migrant story told as a series of wordless images. They have been inferring and using the images to put together a story of what has been happening. In geography, they have also been creating dioramas of their chosen climate type.  

If you are looking for something to do over the holidays we encourage all Year 4’s to continue practicing their times tables. We have used an awesome game called Hit the Button (link below) that is a great way for students to practice.
