Principal's Message

Dear parents, students and families,

I trust everyone has had a positive week!

Yesterday Mrs Thomas and I met with the Architects, Builders and MACS personnel who will now be our building team for our new project. The project will now commence on-site on Monday 7 July with an expectation that it will largely be completed by Christmas. This is an outstanding result for our school to now have certainty around it. Over the next 2 and a bit weeks we will be making the internal movements of classroom spaces to facilitate this and will try and keep the disruption around this to the absolute minimum.

Today some of our Year 5-6 students represented our school at a local basketball gala day. I know they had an enjoyable day and thank Mrs Ary for organising this. Well done to both teams with one of the teams going through to the next level and both teams having wins on the day. Thank you to the parents who attended and Ms Marks for her support. Next Thursday many of our Year 3- 6 students will be representing the school at the District Athletics at Ballam Park. Good luck to them all!

Next Friday we will have our end of term Whole School Mass as we join together for the Feast of the Sacred Heart though the term actually concludes on Friday 4 July.  Wider members of the community are of course very welcome to join us in the Church.

Thanks again for a wonderful week, and we look forward to what’s ahead!

God Bless

Rod Shaw
