Inquisitive Kids Year 1 🧪

In Week 8, our Year One students took part in an exciting science incursion as part of our Term 2 Inquiry topic, Light and Sound. We explored how sound is created through vibrations and experimented with a range of objects to investigate this concept, including a metal nut inside a balloon, tuning forks on foil trays, and string attached to a metal coat hanger. We then moved on to learn about light and how we see the world around us. Each student used their own discovery box filled with various materials to explore reflection, refraction, and whether light could pass through different objects. A big thank you to Carmen from Inquisitive Kids Incursions for delivering another engaging and hands-on learning experience!
