Welcoming Online Communities For Students

On 12 June 2025, ReachOut closed their Online Community to focus on new ways of supporting young people’s evolving needs. While the forum is no longer available, support is still out there. Here are some safe, welcoming online communities where students can keep finding connection:

Students aged between 16–25 can also still access 1:1 support via our PeerChat service.

ReachOut Parents annual online survey

We’re asking parents and carers to share their thoughts about ReachOut’s services in our annual online survey – for a chance to win one of 25 gift vouchers worth $100, valid at over 100 retailers.

Insights from parents and carers help us to improve ReachOut’s services, ensuring we can continue to support young people and their families through tough times. And, the survey only takes 10 minutes.

We want to hear from anyone living in Australia who cares for a young person aged 12–25 years and has used ReachOut Parents. Participation is voluntary and completely confidential.

Community Mentors for Students

We often get asked within the Wellbeing Team about community mentors for students and ‘A Path to Follow’ is a local organisation which has just that. Read more here.
