Our first Prep Transition session for the 2026 Preps was held on Wednesday, 5th November, and was an outstanding success! The children looked wonderful in their CSPS T-shirts and eagerly joined in with all the classroom activities. It was a delight to see how confidently they settled into their new learning environment, quickly engaging with the tasks and showing such enthusiasm for learning.
The quality of their work was impressive, reflecting both their excitement and readiness to begin school life. Meanwhile, parents had the opportunity to meet one another, hear more about our whole-school wellbeing approaches, and gain helpful tips for supporting their child’s transition to school. It was also a great chance to learn about the many ways families can become involved in our school community.
We are so proud of our soon-to-be Preps and look forward to welcoming them back for the upcoming transition sessions as they continue their journey towards becoming part of the CSPS family!
Breakfast Club gives all students the opportunity to enjoy a healthy, nutritious breakfast before school, helping them to be ready to learn and make the most of every educational and social opportunity the day brings. It also provides busy parents with peace of mind, knowing their child is starting the day well-fed and energised.
Breakfast Club is held in the Music Room each Friday from 8:20–8:40am.
Please note the following:
Students who follow the Breakfast Club expectations will be warmly welcomed back each week.
If any parents are interested in volunteering to help, please email the school. Please note: Parent helpers must hold a current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
We remind all families of the importance of following road safety rules during school pick-up and drop-off times. Please take extra care when driving and parking around the school, obey all traffic signs and use designated crossings to keep everyone safe. It’s essential that we all show patience and consideration for others—whether on foot or behind the wheel—to ensure a smooth and safe experience for our students, families and neighbours. A few extra moments of care can make a big difference in keeping our community safe.
