Edgeworth Public School P&C News
What a spook-tacular success our Halloween Disco was! The students danced the day away, showing off some frightfully good moves to their favourite tunes. Students enjoyed a delicious drink, chips and a glowing good time with their glow sticks. With lots of laughter and a few “boo-tiful” costumes, it truly was a fun day for all. Thanks to your amazing support, we raised over $3,815, which will go directly towards the new playground equipment for our students to enjoy!
Next up, mark your calendars for our McDonald’s Family Fun Night on Wednesday 19th November! A portion of sales on the night goes straight back to the school, so come along, grab a meal, and enjoy a fun, relaxed evening together.
Looking ahead to our Carols Night P&C BBQ, we’re getting ready to fire up the grill and spread some festive cheer! More information will be shared soon, but we’ll be looking for some friendly volunteers to help cook and sell for a short time on the night. It’s a great way to get involved and be part of the Christmas fun.
As we continue to adjust to the new canteen arrangements, please remind your child which break their order should be collected at. This will help everything run smoothly and ensure everyone gets their food at the right time. Also, please note that the canteen will be closed on Tuesday 2nd December (Week 8).
Finally, a reminder that our next P&C meeting — and the last one for 2025 — will be held on Monday 1st December (Term 4, Week 8). We’d love to see some new and familiar faces join us as we wrap up another wonderful year together.
Thank you for your ongoing support throughout the year. Together, we’ve achieved so much for our school community. Here’s to finishing Term 4 with smiles, laughter, and plenty of Christmas spirit!
Warm regards,
Kendal Merchant
Edgeworth Public School P&C Secretary
