Deputy Principal, Mrs Kadi Carr & Mrs Bec Baird

It’s been another wonderful fortnight at our school, filled with learning, laughter, and lots of great achievements! We continue to be so proud of how our students are showing our school values of Respect, Responsibility, and Excellence in their classrooms and playgrounds each day.
Explained Attendance
This term, we’re again focusing on the importance of regular attendance. Regular attendance plays a vital role in every student’s learning and success at school. When a student is away, it’s important that parents and carers explain the absence as soon as possible. Our school requires that all absences be explained within seven days of the day off. This can easily be done by replying to the school’s SMS notification or contacting the office directly. Providing an explanation helps us keep accurate attendance records and ensures the safety and wellbeing of every student. We appreciate that children should not come to school if they are sick and reiterate the importance of explained attendance. Thank you for helping us work together to support your child’s learning and maintain strong communication between home and school.
Wellbeing
We’d also like to acknowledge the positive behaviour we’ve seen across the school, particularly during lunch and recess breaks. Students are consistently making great choices, showing kindness to others, and supporting their peers. Thank you to all families for reinforcing these messages at home and to teachers for delivering our Edgy Expect lessons as a helpful reminder for everyone. As we move through the term, let’s keep encouraging our students to do their best, take on new challenges, and celebrate every success, big or small.
