Healthy Living

Our Foundation, Year 1 and Year 2 students have been learning about the importance of looking after their mental health and wellbeing. They discovered that spending time outdoors — enjoying “green time” — helps their brains and bodies feel calm and happy. Students also discussed how too much screen time can make them feel tired or grumpy, and explored fun ways to care for themselves by playing, moving, and relaxing outside.

Year 3/4 students have been making homemade dips with fresh ingredients as the cooking component of their healthy living day.

GOLF

Congratulations Payton on winning the School Golfing Competition.

Sport

Congratulations to all of the students who participated in the regional athletics day on the 10th of October. Students that attended competed in a range of track and field events and represented the school and their families with distinction. All students should be incredibly proud of their efforts and continue to pursue their chosen events well into the future.

Special congratulations to both Kitty  and India  for progressing through to the state finals being held on the 6th of November. Kitty will be participating in the 200m sprint and India the long jump. This is an incredible achievement and both girls should be very proud of your efforts. Best of luck to both of you and bring back the win!

Our Most Recent Mission Stalls - Raised $814.15

Over the last three weeks, there has been a real buzz around our school as students have used their creative and collaborative skills to set up and run stalls individually or with friends, to raise funds for those less fortunate.  

During playtime, part of our school yard has resembled a community market or fair with older students assisting younger students and everyone having a lovely time. 

We have recycled, upcycled, played games and shared our talents with others while having loads of fun.
