Jai Burge

Jai has made an impressive start to grade six. He is a quietly spoken and conscientious young man who goes about his business with a minimum of fuss. He is a trusted and reliable student in grade six who has earned the respect from his teachers and peers with his lovely manners and the genuine empathy he shows towards others. I particularly enjoy seeing Jai being challenged with his work and developing strategies to move forward and have success. He gives 100% to everything he does, approaching all tasks with a positive attitude. Jai’s contributions in, and around the classroom are greatly appreciated, and it is a delight to have him as a member of our class. He is a very deserving recipient of the Aussie of the Month. Congratulations.

Patrick Bruce

Patrick is an energetic, friendly and enthusiastic member of the class and whole grade cohort. He is not scared to ask questions and always wants to understand what he is being taught. The joy and pride he shows when he accomplishes something that he didn’t think he could achieve is fantastic to see. Patrick has the amazing ability to make connections with everyone around him, including the adults he engages with. He is able to consistently show his sense of humour, being able to joke with those around him without crossing the line. Patrick’s willingness to give every opportunity a go and the outcomes he achieves, often surprise even himself. It is these reasons and many more that make Patrick such a deserving recipient of our Aussie of the month.
