STUDENT SAFETY & PERSONAL BELONGINGS 

Yesterday, we had an incident where a number of student bikes were vandalised. This is very disappointing, particularly as this has not occurred before and students are aware that the bike shed is out of bounds during school hours. 

I am currently investigating the incident and will follow up with the students involved and their families once I have more information. 

This is also a timely reminder that personal items, including bikes and scooters, are brought to school at each family’s own risk and are not covered by the school’s insurance.

I have also noticed a number of students arriving at school very early. Please remember that the school yard is not supervised until 8:30 am, and students should not arrive at school before this time.

For safety reasons, families are asked to ensure students arrive from 8:30 am onwards, when staff supervision begins.

THE ORANGE DOOR | SUPPORT FOR FAMILIES

At Ramlegh Park Primary School, the safety and wellbeing of our students and families is very important to us.

The Orange Door is a free service that supports families with concerns around parenting, relationships, child wellbeing and family violence. Families do not need a referral and can contact The Orange Door directly for advice and support.

The Orange Door can help connect families with services such as counselling, parenting support, accommodation, financial assistance and legal help.

Families can visit their local Orange Door in person from Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm. No appointment is needed.
