Message from the

Principal

Dear Families,

On Friday, we celebrated our wonderful Support Staff. We are truly blessed at St Therese’s to have such an amazing group of educators and support personnel who work alongside our teachers to provide the very best learning experiences and environments for our students.

Our Support Staff undertake a wide range of important roles, including classroom support, first aid, library technician duties, intervention programs, administration and reception, PE support, and grounds and maintenance. Their dedication, care, and hard work make an enormous difference to our school community every single day. We simply could not do it without them!

Tomorrow is our Athletics Carnival! This is always one of the major highlights of the school year and one of the special occasions where our whole school community comes together to participate, cheer, and celebrate.

A huge thank you to Mel and Trent for their outstanding organisation and attention to detail, to Ali for her support with first aid, and to all our staff who embrace this event with such enthusiasm and energy. We can’t wait to see everyone trackside for a fantastic day.

As we approach the close of the 2027 Foundation enrolment period, I would also like to sincerely thank every parent who speaks so positively about our school within the community. We have been overwhelmed by the number of enrolment applications and deeply appreciative of the feedback shared during school tours and information sessions.

The positive conversations about our school, our staff, our learning environments, and most importantly, our beautiful students, are a wonderful reflection of the strong and supportive community we have built together.

The multi-sport goals and the small soccer goals allow for more effective use of space during school time and for all the teams who practice on our ovals after school.

School Hours

Please note that the schoolyard is unsupervised before 8:30 am. There are still many children on the grounds prior to this time and there is no teacher on duty.

For the safety of your children, I ask that they are not dropped off at school before 8:30am.

Mobile Phone and Smartwatch Reminder

A reminder to families that all ‘smart’ devices, including mobile phones and smartwatches, must be handed to teachers first thing in the morning when students arrive at school. These devices are then securely stored for the duration of the school day and returned to students at dismissal time.

This practice supports a focused learning environment and aligns with our school and diocesan policies. We appreciate your ongoing support in reinforcing this expectation with your children.
