On Tuesday 19th of May at 5-6pm, Toorak Primary School will be hosting its Family Maths Night in the school hall. You and your families are invited to come along for a night of maths activities of all different shapes and sizes. Each room will have different activities that link to the different maths strands. By completing your passport, you will go into the draw to win some amazing prizes. We hope to see you there!


Parents, unleash your inner artist with a Paint and Sip session to help raise money for a new Kiln in the art room.
Dates: 12th June and the 21st of August
• Time: 6:30pm – 8:30pm
• Location : Art room
• Cost : $60
Instructing artist: Fiona Tweddle- The HAPPI project.
Each session sits 32 adults.
Sessions will be advertised on QKR.
Session includes:
• a canvas to create on.
• The use of acrylic paint, paint brushes and an easel.
• The serving of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages with nibbles for the first hour.
Please note: the is an adult only event.


A reminder there is a Curriculum Day scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday 7th May. Students are not required at school.


We're thrilled to announce the much-anticipated Year 6 "Battle of The Bands." Each Year 6 group is gearing up to participate and compete against one another in this musical showdown. Our talented students have been diligently practising a song, and they'll be showcasing their skills live during the Battle of the Bands. The event is on Monday 11th May at 9:15am outdoors, weather permitting. In the event of unsuitable weather, it will be held in the hall. Parents invited to attend.


Our much-loved Mother’s Day Raffle is back for 2026 — and bigger than ever.

Orders can be placed on Qkr for Donuts, Hedgehog, or Caramel Slice, alternating every Friday for $2. Orders close at 4pm each Tuesday. All proceeds raised go towards the Grade 6 Graduation.


There will be toys galore at the Grade 6 Toy Sale Fundraiser on Friday 5 June!
Toys will be priced between $1 and $20, and all classes will have the opportunity to attend the sale during the school day.
We welcome donations of toys—please ensure all items are clean and in good condition (no books, please). Donations can be given to your classroom teacher by Wednesday 3 June.

As part of our Art Show celebrations later in the year we are inviting families to purchase a quality navy polyester 210 denier long-sleeved art smock for $20 (suitable for children aged 5–10 years). Smocks can be ordered on QkR for $20. Orders close on Friday 12th June 2026. Funds raised will help support the school in purchasing a new kiln for our Art room. Students will decorate their smock with paint pens during a special Art session. Smocks will be kept in the classroom when not in useand will be sent home at the end of the year for washing.


Our Art Show will be held on Thursday 10th September. We are currently seeking volunteers to join our set-up crew to help hang and display student artwork on Tuesday 8th September and Wednesday 9th September. If you are available to assist, please email Mrs Reynolds via Compass.
