MPPS Values Awards 

MPPS Student Values Awards ~ Term 2, Week 4

Students who have demonstrated our school values (Respect, Kindness, Gratitude) are selected from each cohort to receive an award certificate and our new Values wristband to wear to school each day. The students receive this award at a cohort assembly that is conducted twice per term.

 

Well done to the children below who recieved our Values award.

 

Prep

Noah ~  This award goes to a truly kind, thoughtful and compassionate student.  Noah, you are a true role model for our school value of respect.  A wonderful role model, Noah consistently shows care for the people around him and our classroom. He has a true love of learning, which is evident in his enthusiastic and caring approach to class, always willing to give new things a go. His beautiful manners and positive attitude are present in every ‘please’ and ’thank you’. Noah always shows care to others through thoughtful listening and kind interactions. We are so grateful to have your positive, bright and loving personality in our class! Congratulations, Noah, you are a true superstar!

 

Aarya ~ The recipient of the May KINDNESS Values award is Aarya.

Aarya is a gentle and thoughtful little learner in Prep B who consistently shows kindness to others.  Her quiet nature helps her to listen carefully and observe what is going on around her. Aarya notices when someone needs help in the classroom and will go out of her way to ensure they receive that help. As such, her thoughtfulness ensures she is always ready to lend a helping hand. Aarya is patient and her caring attitude makes her a lovely, kind friend and classmate. Keep shining in your own calm and special way, Aarya.

Your kindness sparkles! 

 

Abby ~ Abby consistently demonstrates outstanding kindness in everything she does. She shows genuine care for others and makes those around her feel valued and included. Abby invites others to join in games and activities, she demonstrates excellent partner acceptance and ensures everyone feels welcome and part of the group. Her thoughtful actions, friendly nature and commitment to inclusion make her a wonderful role model for her peers. 

 

 Violet ~ This award goes to a member of Prep A  who consistently demonstrates our school value of gratitudeViolet, you are a shining star in your ability to show gratitude to your classmates, teachers and everyone around you! Always looking out for ways to help others, Violet’s deep empathy and care for others shines through her actions every day. Violet has beautiful manners and is genuinely thankful when  others help her. She thinks deeply about how her words and actions impact others, always seeking to make a positive impact. Violet, you show true joy and gratitude for every aspect of your day. You consistently share in others joy, making our classroom community a better place! Congratulations, Violet, you are a values superstar! We are so lucky to have you a part of Prep A.

 

 

Year 1/2 

Nitai ~ This value award goes to a student who truly embodies what it means to treat students, teachers and our school with Respect. Well done, Nitai!

Nitai is a shining example of MPPS’s value of Respect. Whether he is packing up his own belongings or quietly tidying up after others, helping a classmate or lending a hand to a teacher, Nitai never needs to be asked to show up for those around him! 

We are so proud of Nitai and his consistent effort to model Respect at MPPS! Bravo and merci for all of your hard work Nitai! 

 

Harriet ~ Harriet is a truly deserving recipient of the Respect Award. She consistently demonstrates an exceptional level of respect and consideration for those around her. Whether it’s offering help to a classmate, using gentle and encouraging words, or patiently supporting others through challenges, Harriet is always the first to step forward. Harriet’s respect is genuine and constant—it’s not something she does occasionally, but something she lives every day. She creates a positive and inclusive environment in the classroom, making others feel valued, supported, and confident. Harriet’s respect, patience, and willingness to help set a powerful example for others to follow. We are incredibly proud of the respect Harriet shows so naturally, and she is extremely worthy of this award.

 

Gabriel ~ Gaby is always respectful and kind to his classmates. He works well with others and is always willing to help others out. Gaby makes everyone feel welcome, a true mark of respect. He shows care, patience, and respect every day, and he is a wonderful role model in the classroom and playground.

 

Vrinda ~ This award goes to a member of 1/2C who consistently demonstrates our school value of gratitude. Vrinda, you are a wonderful example of what it means to be truly thankful for the opportunities around you. Your gratitude shines through in the care and effort you put into your work and the pride you take in presenting yourself each day. You approach your learning with a positive attitude and an appreciation for being at school, always making the most of every opportunity. Vrinda, you are thoughtful and considerate of others, showing kindness and respect in all that you do. Your actions reflect your appreciation for your classmates, your teachers, and your learning environment. Congratulations, Vrinda! You are a fantastic role model, and we are so lucky to have you as part of 1/2C.

 

Year 3/4

James ~ James consistently shows kindness in the way he treats others at school. He is respectful to his classmates and teachers and often looks out for people who may need help or encouragement. He helps create a positive and inclusive classroom environment through the way he interacts with those around him. He also demonstrates kindness through his willingness to work with others and include his peers. James is considerate in his words and actions, and he contributes to a calm and supportive classroom where others feel valued.

 

Vasu ~ Vasu is receiving this award for consistently demonstrating exceptional kindness to others. No matter the situation, Vasu treats everybody with fairness and inclusivity. He finds ways to include others in activities and games, offers help when needed, and speaks to others with care and consideration. His positive actions help create a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment where everyone feels valued. Thank you for making our school a kinder place, Vasu!

 

Alice ~ Congratulations to Alice a student who truly demonstrates one of our core school values — kindness. Kindness is about the small, everyday actions that make a big difference. It’s offering help without being asked, including others, and showing care and empathy to those around us. This student consistently goes out of their way to make others feel valued and supported.

 

Violet ~  Violet demonstrates gratitude by regularly acknowledging the support and kindness of those around her. She shows appreciation to both her teachers and peers, often expressing thanks and recognising when others have helped her. She also shows a calm and steady presence in the classroom, even when things around her become noisy or chaotic. Violet maintains a respectful and positive attitude, responding thoughtfully rather than reacting, which helps contribute to a more settled learning environment.

 

Sadie ~ Thank you for the joy and positivity you bring to school every day. I truly appreciate your warm smile and cheerful greeting whenever I am lucky enough to bump into you around school. You always seem so happy and I love the way your positivity rubs off on others. I admire the way you enthusiastically engage with all our creative activities during art.

I have observed you being aware of your surroundings and getting stuck in with whatever needs to be done, while also helping others without being asked. You ask thoughtful questions to extend and clarify your understanding, while discussing and demonstrating ideas freely with your classmates. Thank you for  your kindness, thoughtfulness and for being so helpful to all! Sadie,you are a true role model for our school value of respect.

 

Amelia ~ Amelia presents all of our school values beautifully each day. She is always highly respectful and grateful for the opportunities school provides for her. Amelia enjoys both her learning and social interactions. She is a wonderful learner, student and friend. Amelia is very considerate of others, both her peers and teachers. I would particularly like to take this opportunity to highlight Amelia’s kindness at school. She is always kind to others, including her personal friends and other members of our school community. Amelia is willing to help, care and include others. Through building strong relationships based on kindness and respect, Amelia is a wonderful role model for others and a great ambassador for our school values. Thank you, Amelia, for being such a positive and kind member of our school. Congratulations on receiving your kindness award. It is well deserved!

 

Year 5/6

Kale'a ~ I’d like to recognise a student who consistently demonstrates one of our most important school values — respect. Kale’a shows respect in the way she speaks to others, listens carefully, and includes those around them. Whether working in the classroom or playing in the yard, they treat everyone with kindness and fairness. This student leads by example, reminding us all that respect helps create a positive and supportive school community. I’m very proud of the way Kale’a represents this value every day. Congratulations!

 

Will ~ Will is receiving this award for consistently demonstrating our school value of Respect in everything he does. He is a genuinely kind and responsible member of our class who leads by quiet example. Whether he is in the classroom, out in the yard or working in specialist classes, Will treats everyone with kindness and consideration. He shows beautiful manners, listens thoughtfully to others and always speaks in a calm and respectful way. Will approaches his learning with a positive attitude and always gives his best effort. His calm, steady demeanour has a wonderful effect on those around him, and he is a truly valued and appreciated member of our class and school community.

 

Daniela ~ Daniela is a wonderful example of all three of our school values, but she is especially deserving of this award for gratitude. She consistently shows appreciation through her actions, always thanking others and recognising the support she receives from her teachers. Daniela approaches her learning with a positive attitude, works hard and makes the most of every opportunity presented to her. She is always friendly in the corridors, respectful of others and very well-mannered. Daniela leads by example in the classroom and is a very deserving recipient of this award. Congratulations, Daniela!

 

Yves ~ Yves has been a wonderful helper in the office over the past couple of weeks! Even when it’s very busy during recess and lunch, he always shows respect, uses great manners, and helps others do the same. Yves is also fantastic at delegating—he kindly guides other students on what they can do to help, making sure everyone feels included and supported. Keep up the amazing work, Yves!

 

Vihar ~ Vihar consistently demonstrates the school’s value of kindness. He has a natural ability to look out for others and support them when they are in need. Vihar is always inclusive and ensures no one feels left out, whether in the classroom or on the playground. His friendly nature and acceptance of others, help everyone around him feel a true sense of belonging within the community. Vihar is a wonderful role model for his peers and should be congratulated on receiving this award. Well done, Vihar. Congratulations!
