The Resilience Project 2025

In 2025 we are implementing The Resilience Project (TRP) curriculum throughout our whole College. This emotionally engaging program will be delivered during the Learning Mentor Lesson each fortnight, providing evidence-based, practical wellbeing strategies to build resilience amongst our staff and students.

The mental health statistics in this country are confronting. TRP’s mission is to teach positive mental health strategies to help people become happier and more resilient. TRP shares emotionally engaging stories with hundreds of schools, workplaces and communities to help make the topic of mental health more accessible. The research is clear; the more positive emotion you experience, the more resilient you will be.

For that reason, the program focuses on three key pillars proven to cultivate positive emotion: Gratitude, Empathy and Mindfulness (GEM).

TRP programs also have a strong focus on connection, purpose, kindness, emotional literacy and physical health.

Every student will receive a hard copy student journal (to be distributed by the College in February 2025). The cost of the student journal is $10 and payment can be made via the event on Compass. Please keep a look out for further details on Compass in the coming weeks.
