Kildare Campus News

As we approach the final weeks of term, here are some friendly reminders to ensure a smooth and safe finish to the school year.

  • Health and Wellbeing - Please keep your child at home if they are feeling unwell, it’s essential that students stay healthy and avoid spreading illness at this time of year.
  • Sun Safety - Remember that hats are required as part of our sun-safe practices. If your child needs a new hat, they are available for purchase from Student Services.
  • After-School Pickup - A reminder to please be mindful of the bus zone when picking up students. Buses require clear access to keep on schedule, especially for students connecting with other buses at interchanges. Your cooperation helps us keep everything running smoothly for all.
  • Bike and Foot Path Safety - With warmer weather upon us, we’ve seen an increase in snake activity along the bike track and footpath. Please remind your child to stay alert on their way to and from campus. Bike riders are reminded that helmets are mandatory, and students are representing the College when in uniform, both on campus and in the community.

Thank you for your attention to these important details as we finish the term together safely and successfully. I ask that you continue to support the school as we navigate these final weeks.

Multipurpose Learning Centre Update

We’re excited to share a first look at our Stage 3 architectural designs for our state of the art Multipurpose Learning Centre at Kildare Campus.

The State Government announced $6 million in funding for our Stage 3 capital works in August this year.

Our Multipurpose Learning Centre will include an indoor stadium with two full size basketball/netball courts and retractable seating, a 246 seat theatrette, performance stage, foyer, kiosk, and full amenities including change rooms and toilets.

The centre, to be located on the vacant parcel of land adjacent to the bus interchange, provides spaces for performing arts, sport and physical education, science, community use and teacher planning.

Our Stage 3 works will also include an extension to the Stage 2 Learning Building to provide more classroom space for students.

Works are expected to commence in early 2025 and will allow us to continue providing the very best educational opportunities and facilities that our students deserve.

Thanks to our architects Clarke Hopkins Clarke for capturing our vision so beautifully in these design images. We can’t wait to see this project come to life in 2025!
