Library
The end of the year is fast approaching and Library staff are busy preparing for the end of year stocktake. Students with overdue loans receive weekly reminders both via email and their English teacher, but sometimes this isn’t quite enough. Recently, any families whose students have loans overdue up to the 30th June will have received Compass notifications. If you are the recipient of a notification, please work with your student to find and return the item(s). Remember: the Library is an important resource shared by the whole College community. It relies on students returning borrowed items by their due date to ensure books are available to other students. Thank you.
Congratulations to the winners of the October Artisan of the Month:

Next week, all students and staff will get to vote in the People's Choice Awards for their favourite 2024 Artisan of the Month entry from each category. The winners will be crowned Artisan of the Year at the Showcase Presentation Evening on Thu 21 Nov (have you got your tickets, yet?). Thanks again to everyone who entered Artisan of the Month this year. We look forward to seeing your creative output in 2025.
After a short hiatus, the Wantirna College Book Club is back on track! Students can join in the next few Mondays in the Library 2 classroom to discuss all things bookish. Discussions will include any new directions students would like the Book Club to go in in 2025. Exciting times are ahead!
In the lead up to the Year 8 RRRR (Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships) day, the Library have put together a selection of some books on the theme. They are all available for loan.
Clubs are back - bigger and better than ever before. Which Club will you join?
