Peter Pan Primary Drama Production

Thank you to our Primary Drama Club for taking us on an exciting adventure to Neverland as part of their year-end drama production "Peter Pan". It was wonderful to see the confidence that has developed in the children and their delight at being centre stage! Congratulations to the incredible team involved in the hours of practice and the beautiful costumes and make-up - the children looked wonderful. A special thank you to our Head of Arts, Mrs Corinna Herbert, as well as Dr Zoe Beringer and Miss Simone Naidoo for all your hard work.

HeartKids Red & Blue Fundraiser

In support of one of our brave students who underwent their fourth open heart surgery, The King's College primary students held a Red & Blue Day fundraiser, with $720 raised for HeartKids, an organisation that supports families with congenital heart disease. Thank you, students and parents, for your support of this initiative.

Science Week Quiz Winners celebrate with a bang!

This week, the winning classes of the Science Week Quiz visited the Secondary School to participate in some cool chemistry experiments with Dr Beringer and some of her Year 10 King’s ATAR Prep for Science (KAPS) elective students.  Miss Richardson's class and Miss Girling's class watched sugar turn into a steaming column of carbon and poisonous gas; made a rainbow of colours from everyday household products like milk, lemonade and toothpaste; made different coloured solid precipitates from transparent, colourless solutions; and then watched the explosive reaction of sodium metal with water. What fun! Congratulations, again, to 2A and 6A, and a big thank you to the Year 10 KAPS class for helping our younger scientists conduct their experiments.

Fire Incursion

Receiving a visit from our firefighters and a fire engine on campus is always a highlight! Our Year 3's enjoyed a Fire Safety incursion, learning about the role of a firefighter, how to prevent or stop a fire emergency from happening, calling emergency services, crawling low under smoke and having a home fire escape plan. Thank you to the Hope Valley Fire Station for spending the morning with us.

Primary House Spirit Day

Our Term 4 School Spirit morning was a colourful day and a joyful noise! Our students created their own unique cheers for their House and taught them to their peers. You are in for a treat at our next sports carnivals!

Year 1 Perth Zoo Excursion

Ms Rebelo | Teacher Year 1B

On 30 October, our Year 1 students had an unforgettable adventure at the Perth Zoo! During our 'Discovering Australia' experience, we sat with kangaroos and wallabies, and even got to pet a snake and a giant lizard! We wandered through the zoo, mesmerised by God's smallest and biggest creations. Our students were praised by the Zoo staff for their amazing Australian animal knowledge, beautiful manners, and gentle touch with the animals. A big thank you to our wonderful parent helpers who made this excursion run so smoothly. It was a day filled with wonder and learning!
