King's Celebration Sunday
Our King's Celebration Sunday took place on 20 October, and a combination of families from our College and The King's Chapel enjoyed a morning of celebration, worship, encouragement and connection.
Hosted by Ps Michael (The King's College) and Ps Melody (The King's Chapel Youth Pastor), we were led through many important spiritual moments that make us who we are. This included Praise and Worship, led by our very own Creative Club, a get-to-know-you session where our principal, Mr Baggaley, and outgoing Music Captains Tapiwa and Selena shared some fun stories.
There's always so much to pray for as we strive together as a community to make a difference. The action-packed College News and Church News videos showed some of the highlights of how God is at work in and through us.
Ps Mihael McCoy presented a word about being devoted to the right things – God, His Word, His ways and one another.
The service culminated in a very powerful moment when our Choir and Creative crew ministered to us through a special item, "I speak Jesus." Seventy-robed students surrounded the auditorium en masse and declared the name that heals, frees, and brings hope to our world.
Topping things off – we had a final prayer of blessing from Founder Dr Gerry McCoy before enjoying some lovely refreshments and hospitality from The Kings Chapel as our families mingled together. What a great Sunday – what a great work we are all a part of.
