Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome to Week 7's Newsletter,

This year is quickly passing by! I can't believe we are already into Week 7, Term 4. The classrooms are still full of energy and learning opportunities.

YEAR 6 FAREWELL

Next Monday, December 2nd, we will host our Year 6 Farewell, an opportunity to celebrate with our Year 6 students and their families the end of a Primary School era. It is not just a farewell but a celebration of the wonderful memories, lessons, and friendships our students have forged along the way. 

A special thank you to our staff, who have worked tirelessly behind the scenes to create a night for our Year 6 students to remember forever. 

PRESENTATION DAY

Our Annual Presentation Day is set to take place on Monday, December 9th at 9:30am. We wish to invite all families and friends to join us in celebrating a year filled with learning milestones, sporting achievements, and fun times. 

Our 2025 School Leaders will also be announced during the formalities.

This year, the venue for our Presentation Day will be the Boggabri RSL Club. Costume notes for the performance have been sent home with the children. If you require some help with the costumes, please don't hesitate to contact the school.

BOGGABRI CAROLS IN THE PARK

We have again been asked to participate in this year's Carols in the Park on Saturday, December 14. Our students will combine with the students from Boggabri Public School to sing a number of Christmas Carols. We have been practising these carols in preparation for this event. Nick and Caroline Stone will also come to do further practice with our students in the lead-up to the performance. 

This community event will begin at 5:30pm with a BBQ followed by our students singing Carols at 7pm. We hope to see as many Sacred Heart students as possible attending this community event at Vickery Park.

END OF YEAR WHOLE SCHOOL MASS

All families and Sacred Heart Parishioners are invited to attend our End of Year School Mass on Monday, December 16, at 10am. The Mass will be held in the Sacred Heart Church. This is an opportunity to celebrate as a school and Parish community with gratitude for what has been a wonderful year.

AUSTRALIA DAY 2025

We will be hosting the formalities for the Boggabri Community on Australia Day - Sunday, 26th January, 2025. It would be great to see as many families as possible in attendance on this day. Further details will be shared via Compass and Facebook closer to Australia Day.

COMMUNITY CALENDAR/RAINFALL CHART

Our PTF is again producing a community calendar for the 2025 year. This year, they are also adding a rainfall chart.

There are currently ad spaces available, so if you would like to advertise your business on the calendar or rainfall chart, ensuring your details are at the forefront of all local households, please complete the paperwork linked to the PTF section of this newsletter.
