Principal's Update
St Joseph's is a child-safe school.
We promote the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all students.
Our School leaders recently joined all principals and leaders from across our Diocese for important professional learning. During the sessions, we explored the new Behaviour Curriculum, set to be implemented in all diocesan schools from 2025.
We also collaborated with the team from OCHRE as our Diocese begins the exciting journey of integrating the OCHRE platform for English and Mathematics. We look forward to sharing our collective wisdom as we work alongside schools across the Diocese within the new Magnify education project.
With the catchphrase; Every Student - Every Teacher - Every School - Every Day! We are indeed looking forward to an exciting way forward in education across Sandhurst and importantly at St Joseph's.
We look forward to welcoming families and friends to our special Christmas concert on Thursday, December 5 at 6.00pm under the 'Shebang'. Bring a chair and enjoy the show.
It is commendable that our parents wish to thank teachers for the work they do. However, we are no longer able, as an organisation (CES Limited) to request, collect and/or handle money for staff gifts. This is to protect the safety and integrity of all people involved.
Thank you for your understanding.
We are currently finalising the Role Description for the 2025 Class Reps with the School Advisory Council. Expressions of interest will be sent out tomorrow in a hope to have the positions filled before years end.
Starting next year, our school day will now conclude at 3.15pm in order to synchronize with other Catholic Sandhurst Schools.
As this adjustment takes effect, it is a great opportunity to begin planning for the end of your day. Here are some inquiries to assist you with your preparations:
We are available to support all families as they navigate through this transition period, so
please feel free to reach out to us with any questions or concerns.

St Joseph’s Primary School Quarry Hill will be using the new CDFpay mobile app for online tuckshop ordering, events and fundraising at our school from the start of Term 1 2025.
What do you need to do?
Can I continue using the current CDFpay platform in Term 1 2025?
No, the current CDFpay platform will no longer be available, and you will be directed to register for a new CDFpay account.
We look forward to providing you with a further update soon.
Statements for school fees & levies are emailed to families. Please check your statement and contact the office if you have any questions.
It is expected that all school fees and levies are finalised each year by the start of December.
The school provides a variety of options for payment of school fees and levies - in full at the start of the school year / part payment at the start of each school term / by direct debit – weekly, fortnightly, or monthly / by direct payment into the school bank account or by regular payments at the school office by cash or EFTPOS. You can even pay over the phone if you wish.
It is important that payment of school fees and levies are honoured and prompt payment is much appreciated. However, if you are experiencing difficulty meeting your obligation for payment, please contact the school to arrange a time to discuss this with the Principal, Mr Peter Teggelove.
