Foundation 

There is a buzz of excitement this week in Prep as we count down to our Playground Excursion. Students look forward to catching the bus to the first playground, playing, eating pizza for lunch and a special treat for a snack, but not so much for the walking part. 

Reminders for the Excursion tomorrow

- Please bring a NAMED drink bottle 

- If bringing a jumper please NAME the jumper

- Students do not have to bring bags to school 

- Keep readers at home 

- Students are to wear SPORT uniform and suitable shoes for walking 

- We are providing students with all food for the day. If your child does not eat pizza, please send them to school with a packed lunch in a named lunch box. 

- Please put sunscreen on children before they come to school. We will bring some to reapply. 

In Maths this week we have been learning about Capacity. That is seeing how much it takes to fill a container.   We observed containers being full, nearly full, half full, nearly empty and empty. During Investigations, we then had a go at filling containers with water to show these different amounts.
