Why the Seniors love the Rain!

-I love the rain because the drips of the water sound and look really relaxing so I easily get calmed down by the rain. Mia

 

-I love the rain as it provides us with water, helps people in droughts, and in cold places can turn into snow. Matthew

 

-I love the rain because it waters the beautiful plants. Chris

Determination means never giving up, even when something is hard. It’s about trying your best and keeping a strong mind to reach your goals. 

 

How to Show Determination in School 

Keep trying, even if your work is tricky or you make mistakes.

- Ask for help when you don’t understand something instead of giving up.

- Practice lots to get better at reading, writing, or numbers.

Write a Book in a Day 

 

Once again, some of our senior students will be participating in this wonderful competition. The challenge is to write a book in one day as well as raising money for children with cancer. The children work from 8am until 5pm, and they have to draft, write, edit and illustrate the book in that time, based around certain characters and settings given on the day. This day will be on Wednesday 3rd September.
