Lost Property 

Thank you to all those parents who ensure that their child's name can be clearly seen on their belongings. We try hard to make sure that all of these items, even if temporarily lost, go back to their rightful owners. 

This week we have had a large number of unlabelled jumpers, lunchboxes and other items collect in our Lost Property. Over a series of days, students and parents on site were asked to try to find any items they may have been missing. 

The items without names, or names of students who have since left Holy Family, will be washed and placed in our second-hand uniform shop. 

Please ensure that all of your student's belongings are clearly marked. 

Thank You to Our Volunteers 

Thank you to the parents who have contacted me regarding volunteering during the school week. 

We would love to hear from any parents who have time during their week to volunteer at school. We have a variety of volunteering opportunities that would suits parents, grandparents or family members with a small amount of time each week. 

You may like to volunteer in one of these areas - 

Reading with students 

Maths assistance 

Gross motor programs 

Assisting in the Library of Tuesdays (before school would also be appreciated)

Occasional opportunities of helping to tidy the uniform or under school areas would also be greatly appreciated.

Book Week Wrap Up 

As Book Week at Holy Family comes to a close I would like to thank all of the students, staff and families who made it such a fun and exciting week. Our last competition was to predict the winner of the 2025 Picture Book of the Year. 

There were some great entries and the winner is .......

The Truck Cat by Deborah Frenkel and Danny Snell

It's a great book with wonderful illustrations that add to the storyline.
