Learning Conversations

Bookings are now open for our second Learning Conversation session for this year. These will be held on Tuesday 9th September, 2025 between 3.30 and 6.00 p.m. This is a great opportunity for your child to again share their learning and for you to discuss their ongoing progress. 

The Learning Conversation sessions are a vital part of our reporting process to parents, and provide a fantastic opportunity to share classroom based learning. Within our school focus on Visible Learning, we know that by students sharing their work, they gain an even greater understanding of the learning that has taken place. 

These meetings are compulsory for all Foundation to Year 6 students.

During these conversations the focus is on the child talking about their learning. This is an opportunity to listen to your child explain their learning success, challenges and their next steps. It is also an opportunity for you to discuss their learning and see examples of what they do in the classroom.

Each conversation will be scheduled for 15-20 minutes. Each time is not allocated to individual families and within each appointment block, there may be up to 4 conversations occurring in your child’s classroom.
