APPLIED LEARNING: Students Discover Post-School Support At AXIS Employment

Our Year 12 Work Related Skills students recently visited AXIS Employment to learn how they can be supported after finishing school.

Students heard how AXIS can help them plan their career paths, prepare resumes, practise interview skills, and connect with local employers. They were shown how programs like Transition to Work can guide young people into jobs, apprenticeships, or further study, while providing ongoing mentoring.

The visit gave students confidence that, as they leave school, they have access to local support to help them take their next steps. They left with a clearer idea of where to find advice, opportunities, and encouragement as they begin their working lives.
