Book Week
This week, our Prep students had a fantastic time participating in the whole school Book Week parade. There was so much excitement as they arrived dressed as their favourite storybook characters. We were so impressed with their colourful and creative costumes.
Prep A
As part of our Book Week celebrations, the Prep teachers shared a selection of books from the CBCA Shortlist with their classes. One of the standout favourites was Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About the Tooth Fairy (and Some Things You Didn’t) written by Briony Stewart.
Prep B
This humorous and imaginative book takes readers on a magical journey into the secret world of the Tooth Fairy - how she collects teeth, where she stores them, and even what she does in her spare time!
Prep C
Inspired by the story, the students stepped into the shoes (or wings!) of a tooth fairy and designed their very own dream homes, inside a tooth!
This activity tied in perfectly with our current Unit of Inquiry, How the World Works, where we are exploring different types of buildings and homes.

Life Education
This week, our prep students were lucky enough to enjoy a session of Life Education with the beloved Harold the Giraffe! Through fun activities and engaging stories, the children learned all about the qualities of a good friendlike kindness, sharing, and listening.
They also explored the different parts of the body, such as their lungs, stomach and heart, where they are located in their own bodies and how to take care of them.
It was a joyful, hands-on experience full of laughter, learning, and of course, plenty of smiles with Harold!
