Weekly Wrap: Year 10

OK Motels!

On Saturday morning, we raised funds for Year 10 Work Experience by selling egg and bacon sandwiches, juices, water, muffins, and chia seed bowls. Arriving at 7:00 am, we started selling at 8:00 am and continued until 11:30 am. During that time, we sold around 300 egg and bacon sandwiches at $10 each. It was a great experience that taught us many valuable, lifelong skills. Thanks to Jacinta H-B and all the parent helpers on the day.

The Year 10 students who took part in the waitressing on Saturday night served approximately 400 people. We handled tasks like collecting dishes, doing the dishes, and some of us even worked on the line serving. We also helped with the clean-up afterwards. A major highlight of the evening was the ‘Marry Your Friends’ event, which was hilarious and had us talking about it all night. A big thank you to Wendy L and the A&P Society, Kylie F, and the Year 10 parents for all their support and assistance.
