Congratulations to Peggy. For showing the value of responsibility in the setting of moving around the school. For using manners and knocking before entering the classroom. Well done Peggy!
It was a busy week in Year 3/4, with students busily completing work across their many subjects! Throughout the week, students were practising their handwriting, improving their letter formation ready for joining their letters. We read our class novel Ophelia and the Marvellous Boy, where we chose sentences from the book and rewrote them choosing stronger verbs. In Maths, we completed a pre-test on 2D shape, and then students were practising drawing and identifying the properties of different polygons. Each week students have a different maths fluency drill to practise, this week it was seeing how many 2-digit numbers from 1-20 they could add together with dice in five minutes. In Art, students are creating a colourful piece inspired by the work of Beatriz Milhazes and Ms Yap presented the colouring competition winners with prizes in Chinese. A fun week had by all!
