Junior School Update – A Positive Start to the Year!
Welcome back to another exciting year at Woodmans Hill Secondary College! Our Junior School students have embraced the new school year with enthusiasm, settling in positively and demonstrating our school values of Respect, Determination, and Excellence.
Our Year 7 students have shown great determination as they have transitioned into high school, navigating new routines, making new friends, and embracing learning opportunities with confidence. Their positive attitude and respect for their peers and teachers have helped create a strong foundation for the year ahead. We are especially excited for their upcoming camp, where they will further develop teamwork and resilience.
Year 8 students have returned with a fantastic mindset, ready to challenge themselves both academically and socially. Their respect for one another and commitment to striving for excellence is evident in the way they have approach their core classes, elective and school life. It has been great to see them actively participating in class and school activities.
Our Year 9 students have started the year with a strong sense of determination and a willingness to take on new challenges. As the leaders of the Junior School, they have been demonstrating respect and responsibility in their interactions with both peers and staff. With a focus on achieving excellence, they are embracing opportunities to develop their skills, build independence, and prepare for the year ahead.
We thank our families for their ongoing support in ensuring students have settled in smoothly. We look forward to a fantastic year ahead, filled with growth, achievement, and opportunities to embody Respect, Determination, and Excellence in everything we do!
