Home Group Report 

Hi Woodmans Hill community, 

I hope you have had a wonderful start to the year and are enjoying the last weeks of summer! 

My name is Gabi Dumesny and I am your new homegroup leader for 2025.  

This term, homegroup has been structured to focus on strengthening communication skills, building relationships with peers, developing strategies to cope with stress and goal setting. In senior school, there is also a heavy focus on study skills, including building skills for organisation, stress management and experimenting with various study techniques.  

As part of homegroup, students also take part in the Respectful Relationships program. This curriculum promotes and models respect, positive attitudes and behaviours. It teaches our students how to build healthy relationships, resilience and confidence.  

I’m looking forward to communicating the amazing ideas and skill-building that our students demonstrate throughout the year!
