Making Jesus Real

Over the coming weeks, our Making Jesus Real Award focus will have an emphasis on
“Kindness”
Our founding order, the Sisters of Mercy and the foundress of the Sisters of Mercy, Catherine McAuley demonstrated a special quality of Kindness to all especially those who had little or nothing.
Catherine McAuley was someone who was very courageous in the decisions she made. We encourage our students over the coming weeks to be just like Catherine McAuley, kind and courageous to.
Some ways we can show KINDNESS here at St Brendan’s are:
- to be helpful towards others
- making new friends
- helping others make new friends
- ‘building bridges’ and moving on from disagreements
- use respectful and thoughtful words towards each other, always
- Father Joe’s favourite; say: Please, Thankyou and Sorry
Well done to all our students who are always making Jesus Real, every single day, here at St. Brendan's.
