Wellbeing

            Bring on Breakfast Club!

We are now running breakfast club every Tuesday before school, so students can come and get some cereal or toast to top up their bellies for their day of learning.

We also have fruit available every day. Breakfast Club food is supplied by the Victorian Government and it doesn’t cost the school anything.

We can also supply families with a boxes of groceries. We aim to have a stash of these boxes to help out families with the cost of living any time they are needed. Let any staff member know if you’d like some – for any reason, no explanation needed.

Mental Health in Primary Schools Initiative

Over the next little while, we will be aiming to gather some more insights from parents, students and classroom teachers on our school's current mental health and wellbeing needs and approach. This will help me as I work towards developing a Mental Health and Wellbeing plan, selecting 1-2 areas of priority to develop. Imogen and I have been doing lots of training and I will update you later this term with our action plan.
