Year 10

Dear Year 10 Parent/Guardian, 

On Friday 21st February 2025, Barwon Health immunisation service, will visit our Year 10 students to administer the free Meningococcal ACWY vaccine.

Paper consent cards are available at the front office, which you can collect or have emailed if you prefer. There are some information videos available below, which help to explain why this vaccine is given to our Year 10 students.

It is important to complete a consent form, whether consent is YES or NO. Barwon Health Immunisation need to know that you have received the information and made an informed decision for your child, then no further contact will be required to chase up your response.

Year 11

Year 11 Art Making and Exhibiting are developing observational drawing skills and techniques using charcoal, taking inspiration from the work of Australian artist Brett Whiteley.

Year 12

Welcome to our new year 12 community for 2025.

Firstly, the year 12 team is a great team of teachers whose primary focus is to support the students as they navigate their final year of secondary schooling. Year 12 is a big daunting year for most (students and first-time households!) and there is generally lots of questions regarding all sorts of things, so please feel free to contact any year 12 teacher through Compass and ask!

A reminder that our year 12 camp will be held in week 4; Feb 17th to 19th at Fed Uni Ballarat. It is expected that students attend as we begin to consolidate the great start to the year so far and set our high expectations.

It is also great to know that our year 12 Jumpers have arrived nice and early  - thanks to Claire Sullivan for her great work last year on this – which ensures these arrived nice and early (excluding a little delivery problem!).

These look great, and I am hoping to open up another ordering timeframe soon for those who missed out or would like another jumper.  More information soon.
