Lok-Lok

The Lok Lok Eagles have had an incredible start to the term, showcasing their determination and teamwork in so many different everyday activities. The enthusiasm among the team members is amazing to see, and it’s clear that their hard work has been paying off through the number of tokens they have been receiving.  

Yesterday, the Grade 5/6 students took the soccer field, and we had many representatives from our very own nest. With impressive coordination and skill, they played exceptionally well, demonstrating not only their athletic abilities but also their sportsmanship. The team’s spirit was contagious, and they worked together seamlessly, leading to a fantastic performance that left us all so proud. I had the privilege to interview Frankie and Hamish from the Lok Lok Eagles. They said that the highlight of their day was winning two games and Nate’s inspirational speech at half time that got them over the line.  

As the term progresses, the Lok Lok Eagles are setting a high standard for themselves and their peers. With this momentum, there’s no doubt that they will continue to achieve great things in the weeks to come.

Kanyul

What an incredible start to 2025 it has been for Kanyul House! Our students have hit the ground running, demonstrating our school values of Respect, Resilience, and Responsibility in everything they do. It has been fantastic to see the way they've settled into routines, embraced new challenges, and supported one another across all areas of school life.

SSA Soccer - A Huge Effort from Our 5/6s!

A huge shoutout to our Grade 5/6 students who recently represented the school at SSA Soccer. Their teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship were on full display, making Kanyul proud. Win, lose, or draw, they played with heart and showed what it means to compete with respect and resilience. Well done to all involved!

Exciting Events Ahead!

There's no slowing down as we move deeper into Term 1, with an action-packed few weeks ahead.

Swimming Lessons - 

Our week-long swimming program is just around the corner, giving students the chance to build their confidence in the water while having loads of fun.

SSA 3-6 Cross Country - 

Our strongest runners will take on the challenge, pushing their limits and striving for personal bests.

Whole School Athletics Day - 

A highlight of the term, this will be a chance for all Kanyul students to bring their house spirit, cheer on their teammates, and compete across a range of events against our fierce competitors, the Lok Lok Eagles.

With so much to look forward to, there's no doubt that the Green Kangaroos of Kanyul will continue to shine. Keep up the energy, enthusiasm, and house spirit-let's make Term 1 one to remember!
