A Snapshot of Science this Term

Our MECS scientists have had a busy start to the term as they observe and test scientific phenomena. Some questions we are asking:

Year 7: What is a scientist?

Year 8: What is life?

Year 9: How does heat transfer?

Senior Chemistry: What are materials made from?

Senior Physics: What is light?

We love that Science is a ‘hands on’ experience at MECS. Modelling, testing and simulating with technology are just some of the ways our students get to explore the world and develop in their understanding of who they are and how they can use their unique gifts and passions to be of service in the world.
