Dear Families,

We have been using a range of different instruments across all year levels again this week.  The Foundation students have been using instruments that we tap, scrape or shake to make sounds.  

Year One and 2/3 students have been singing and reading a picture book called the 'Magic Train Ride'. We used percussion instruments to add to this story through improvising and creating sounds that match parts of the story. 

The Year 3/4, 4/5 and 5/6 students continued to explore music from different cultures and enjoyed taking a call and response song from Ghana they have been learning and creating their own version of it with a wide range of percussion instruments.
