Year 7 Archaeological Dig 

During Term 1 Year 7 students have been studying the Ancient History topic 'Investigating the Ancient Past'. To conclude their term of learning they did an archaeological dig on a cookie. While doing the dig, they were marking on coordinates where each artefact (chocolate chip) was found. Students said it was a fun history lesson!

Year 8 Carnival Probability Project

On Tuesday, Year 8 started their Carnival Probability Project. The purpose of the project is to create a carnival activity that will be used to calculate theoretical and experimental probabilities. In groups, students brainstormed ideas for a game of their choice. Early next term each group will construct their games and invite some students from other classes to play them to ascertain if their predicted probabilities were correct.
