Awarded for - Resilience (not giving up when things get tough): Terese Stanley, Noah Abra, Marley Swan, Kourtney Buxton, Shontelle Morris, Xavier Dixon, Peyton West & Hunter Rowe.
Message Stick
The Armidale Diocese will be hosting the 2024 Catholics Schools NSW Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education Conference “Spirit On Conference: Learning Together, then, now & always” in Tamworth 22nd - 24th October.
As part of the conference is the important Message Stick that will travel across our Diocese sharing the message of coming together, learning together and celebrating together in a monumental educational event which will highlight our students' culture, success, aspirations and strengthen educational partnerships with our schools, communities, educators and nation.
This week the message stick arrived at our School and was introduced to our students at their weekly assemblies and our team have taken it to the Elders Meeting to introduce it to our local Elders who were more than happy to hear of its journey.
Farwell Zac
This week we have farewelled Zac which leaves us as a team of two across all of Primary & Secondary. We wish Zac all the best for is future endeavors. Jaimee and Jett are stretched thin across the K - 10 grades. We hope that our families can understand that time is precious in being available to our students and supporting them in the classrooms is our main priority. We hope that families can respect that we aren't always available on the phone or to meet at the gates. Families are more than welcome to come into the Office via the gates in Gwydir Street.
