The Children's Program

Foundation children have settled in nicely to our program, with lots of water play on these hot days, like Wet Head, even the parents and staff got excited and have joined in too.

Last week on Thursday we heard thunder in the afternoon, it was very hot and we were excited to have icy-poles.

Friday morning we had a pan-cakes for breakfast, which is always a yummy treat at the end of the week!

Monday, we enjoyed the cooler weather being able to play outside and play games that we made up on our own.

On Tuesday in before care some children started making sun catchers from recycled beads.

Some children played with icy water play with sensory water beads in the afternoon.

Wednesday, more Wet Head champion ships! Also baking with Anita!

Thursday more surprise activities to keep you you cool...

Can you think of any activities we can do at OSHC that you like?

Write in our suggestions book or tell the staff!

Sustainability, recycling, donations and thanks!

You may have noticed a jar full of bread tags at our sign in/out table, we're collecting plactic bread ties. They'll be sent away to be turned into prosthetic.

If you have any plastic bread ties (Crumpets/rolls/buns) please bring them to OSHC!

We are continuing to use our FOGO bins that were originally set up and sourced by Stacey and Paul and are putting our extra scraps up at the Gardening club's FOGO bins.

Thanks to some parents who think they might have a spare one for us at OSHC!

Also thanks to one of our OSHC dads, Serge for checking and making our new

'Air Hockey' table compliant. (All donated electrical goods must be checked and labelled.

Fellow OSHC dad, Stuart donated the air hockey table!  Thanks so much!

Both children and staff are very excited!

Have a great week, only a few hot days to go? Stay cool and safe!

See you soon

Lexi
