WELLBEING - SAFER INTERNET DAY

Safer Internet Day is recognized each year in February and the day serves as a prompt for safer internet awareness in our lives. We use the internet in almost every facet of out lives and work and therefore online safety is even more important than ever. It is essential to educate ourselves, our children, and students on how to remain safe online.

The theme in 2024 is Connect. Reflect. Protect

- CONNECT safely by keeping apps and devices secure and reviewing your privacy settings regularly.

- REFLECT on how your actions online may affect others or your safety.

- PROTECT yourself and others by visiting eSafety.gov.au to find out how to stay safe online and report online abuse.

Please take the time to check out the range of resources on the eSafety Commission website, including a suite of webinars for parents and carers.
