First Week of Library

It was wonderful to be welcomed by all our beautiful students who attended the library this week and to hear about their obvious delight in books. This term we’re focusing on Australian authors. 

Our Foundation class listened to ‘Pig the Pug’ by Aaron Blabey and our Year Ones listened to ‘Koala Lou’ by Mem Fox. 

Year Two/Three enjoyed ‘Magic Beach’ by Alison Lester. 

The Three/Fours shared ‘Uno’s Garden’ by Graeme Base and the Four/Fives were mesmerised by the book, ‘Fox’ by Margaret Wild and Ron Brooks. 

Our Five/Six students focused on ‘Prayers for the 21st Century’ by John Marsden. 

We’re looking forward to borrowing next week and we spoke about having a library bag to ensure that our precious books come home and back to school safely.

Weekly Library Sessions

Wednesday: Years2/3, 3/4 and 5/6

Thursday: Foundation, Years 1 and 4/5 

Library Bags must be brought to each session to return and borrow books!
