“A Journey through the Five Decades” 

1974 to Now

For the last 50 years, Caroline Chisholm has played a significant role in educating and shaping the young women of Penrith and its surrounding areas, something that is certainly worth celebrating!

 As such, there are two significant events planned in 2024 for former students and staff to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the College. Beginning with the 50th Anniversary Celebration Day on site at the College in Glenmore Park between 10.00 am - 3.00 pm on Saturday 18th May 2024. 

For those who were Chisholm girls in the early years of the College, you would remember the days of Garswood Road, empty fields and farms bordering our playgrounds. Some of you would remember the development of the Glenmore Park suburb around the College and the change of address to The Lakes Drive.

 Our first celebration invites you to return to your roots, and reflect on your memories here with a 'wander' through the College, renew acquaintances and be amazed at the transformation that has taken place across the five decades since its establishment in 1974. 

The second major event is a more formal Cocktail Evening being held on Saturday 19th October 2024 at the Western Sydney Conference Centre, which is part of the brand new Pullman Hotel precinct on the Penrith Panthers Club site. Each of these events will be a celebration of all that is Caroline Chisholm, and we anticipate plenty of opportunities for reminiscing.
