Importance of relaxation and productivity during the upcoming holidays.
As Term 3 wraps up, it is very important to take this break to rest from the academic pressure of Term 3, sleep in, have some lazy days, or enjoy your hobby. Spend some time outdoors, hanging out with your friends enjoying the beautiful spring weather. Consider a picnic, take a hike or simply take a walk in your local park. This should lift your mood.
While relaxation is important, it is also very important to pace yourself and revise some study material in preparation for upcoming exams, especially for those Year 11 students doing a Year 12 subject. So, balance the time off with a little study in order to not fall behind. Spend part of your vacation reviewing and revising material in a structured way, so you can establish good habits and don't end up having to cram, last minute the night before an exam. This way, you will stay on top of your course yet still enjoy your time off. Just a reminder that a well-rounded break includes both relaxation and preparation to set you up for success in Term 4. Enjoy your holidays and hopefully everyone returns ready to finish this year off strong!
