Try a Trade Day

Year 10 and 11 students attended the annual Try a Trade Day at the Range Function Centre last week!

It was a great opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience across a large range of potential careers. There was a variety of exhibitors ranging from group training companies, TAFE NSW and VET Training providers to employers and businesses with interactive displays and informative advice - all looking for their future workforce!

Many of our students made professional networks with their future employers and were exposed to a plethora of potential career pathways and options.

Teachers Mrs Johnson, Mr Gyles, Mr Cunningham, and Mr Forbes-Taber were thoroughly impressed once again by the engagement and positive behaviour of all of our students during their sessions and would like to thank Stacey Suidgeest from RIEP for her tireless work in bringing these opportunities to our students.
