Grade 3 Report

This term, our Grade 3 children have been exploring the delightful world of Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Their enthusiasm for the story has been truly wonderful to see!

As they read about Charlie Bucket’s adventures in Willy Wonka’s magical chocolate factory, the students have eagerly shared their thoughts and discoveries. The story’s vibrant characters and imaginative setting have sparked lively discussions and creative ideas in the classroom.

The students have also been involved in fun activities related to the book, and their creativity has truly shone. It’s been fantastic to witness the joy and excitement they’ve shown throughout this unit.

Here’s what some students had to say about their favourite parts of the book:

“My favourite part of the book was when Charlie finally found

the Golden Ticket.” — Bessie H-L, 3AB

“My favourite part of the book was when Charlie visited the chocolate

factory because it was very interesting.” — Adam S, 3AB

“I also liked when Charlie found the Golden Ticket in the chocolate bar

because he was looking forever for it.” — Daniel B, 3AB

“My favourite part was when Charlie found the coin in the

snow and used it to buy the Wonka Bar.” — Chloe L, 3AB

Keep up the fantastic work, Grade 3! And here’s a sweet joke to enjoy:

What kind of dog does Willy Wonka have?

A chocolate lab!
