Grade 1 Olympic Celebration
To celebrate the Olympic Games in Paris, on Friday the 9th of August the Grade 1's were involved in their own Potato Olympics.
Students joined in on lots of fun activities during the day with their potato “athlete”.
There was lots of rich maths learning and they all had a spud-tacular day!
My favourite activity was everything because they were all my favourite teachers and I love every single sport because Olympics are my dream.
Heidi
My favourite part was when I did archery because I balanced my potato on a pencil and then I finally balanced it on one.

My favourite activity was archery because I loved it and I like throwing and rolling a potato. Shubham
I won two gold medals. One was spud skates. It is like long jump. I won first place. It was one metre and fifty centimetres. I also came first in spud sprint.
