Principal's Report

Ms Meg Woolford - Acting Principal

Subject Selection Day

The subject selection days for all students have been held for preparation for 2025.  We had over 90% of families attend the two days and this is an excellent outcome for our College and our students. The positive engagement between staff, student and families highlights how successful these days are and why they are one of my favourite events. The day provides students and families with the information needed to determine which subjects will assist student engagement and support their pathway and showcases the large range of opportunities the College provides.

2025 Timetable and Blocks

Following the subject selection days our Leadership Team begins the process of developing subject blocks for 2025.  With the staffing shortage across the state, and in particular regional Victoria, we plan to ensure that subjects running have a sustainable number and balancing that with delivering a wide variety of subjects. This means students, families and staff will need to understand that not all subjects will run and that students may be required to use their first and/or second back up choices.

College staff will be working hard to support students and families through this process, particularly at the Senior end of the school.

College Production – Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

Finally, I would like to say a massive congratulations to all of the cast, crew, and production team for their performances of this year’s production. It is a huge task of preparing this event, from many rehearsals, practising, and time outside out school. It is a fantastic showcase of the talent that exists at the College in the performing arts. Special mention to Emily ‘Freddy’ Friedrichsen who always manages to put together such a professional production.
