Community and Family Engagement

Weetbix Active Bands

The 2024 Olympic period has come to end! What a fabulous few weeks of hard work, sportsmanship and great achievements from our Aussie Athletes both at the Paralympic and Olympic level.

It was also fantastic to see our students and teachers increasing their activity over the last few weeks as well, inspired by the Olympians and Paralympians and inspired by the idea of winning some prizes!

More than 10,000 activities were registered by both families and teachers over the 4 weeks of the Olympics. This is fantastic!

Congratulations to the following students who registered the highest number of activities over the period:

Prep: Raphael J

Year 1: Tavneet D

Year 2: Rayan S

Year 3: Jonathan P

Year 4: Antonio L

Year 5: Alby P

Year 6: Samuel J

They all received their choice of any icy pole or skittles to celebrate.

Congratulations also to Year 3 who had the most logged activities over the 4 weeks and to Year 6 who improved with the highest jump in the number of activities from week 1 to 4.

They all received an icy pole as a reward today as well.

Celebration of Learning

Next week is our final week of Term 3. Families are invited to come along to our Celebration of Learning on Wednesday 18th September, 3.45-6pm. You can view and discuss samples of your child's learning that they are proud of and participate in fun activities to find out more about the learning in STEM, Visual Arts and Japanese.

Sports Colours Day

Our Sports Colours Day will be an exciting day to end the Term. Students will participate in a range of sporty activities with their homegroups and are invited to wear their sports colours - these can be their footy team colours, tennis uniform, martial arts uniform, basketball uniform, dance or gymnastics outfit for example.  Please ensure no sleeveless tops and appropriate shoes for break time.  Warm jackets may be required depending on the weather as well.

Lunch Mums will be putting together a special, sporty lunch order that students can order through the My Connect App just for that day. Notes will have gone home either today or tomorrow. Orders must be made on the app and NO LATE ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
