What's Happening in Year 2?
Year 2 Gratitude: Resilience Project
What is Gratitude? It is the act of being thankful and appreciating what you have in life. Rather than focusing on what you don’t have or what you want, the focus shifts to all that you have.
As part of our social emotional learning with the Resilience Project and in preparation for R U OK Day, the Year Two students have been reflecting on the things they are grateful for in their everyday lives.
What are you grateful for?
Here are a few reflections from our students:
I am grateful for my family because when I am sad they cheer me up. - Nari
I am grateful for my clothes I get to wear. - Gabriel
I am grateful for God to be with us to help care for us. - Guneet
I am grateful for my family because they prepare my food and care for me. - Emilia
